5 poems about ghosts

14 empty rooms–
I heard your voice,
even hours later.

Wind- and rain-beaten house,
my forehead against the window–
a girl walking in the waves.

Moonlight crossing the floor,
a breeze in an empty room–
everything feels the same.

Cobweb in a broken window,
the cracks between floorboards–
a map to find you.

Something runs across the field–
I awaken by the window,
watching the moon.
