Just back from a work trip to Switzerland. The public transportation there is AMAZING but they don’t have Diet Coke there. Here are some other things I drank.

“cola kisses orange”. This was like Coke with an extra shot of medicinal orange oil.
Some random energy drink I got because I was stressed about a lack of caffeine options (more of which later). Garbage.
This was good as heck. A mix of peppermint, lemon balm, and chamomile. REFRESHING.
This was good, not super bitter I didn’t think, just a lemon soda. I don’t generally drink non-caffeinated soda but this was a fun way to mix things up.
I keep forgetting to write on here about how I’ve been brewing my own kombucha the past few months. This was fine/forgettable.
This was so gross to me and then later I realized it contains whey (I have a dairy allergy) so maybe it was just gross or maybe I was rejecting this beverage on a cellular level.
This was great! Very sweet, like an RC, but lightly carbonated.
The weirdest thing (to me) about the part of Switzerland where I wa staying is that there were no baristas. All coffee came from automated machines. Even in the bakery and cafes! Fresh baked bread and push-button coffee. The knock-on effect of no baristas was NO ICE COFFEE. One day I took an hour-long train into Zurich and happened to find a random and beautiful Dunkin in the train station. It was maybe the happiest I’ve ever been.

Apple Schorle was the champ of the trip. Apple juice diluted with sparking water. Not as sweet as a Martinelli’s and about a million % more fun than plain seltzer. Ramseier was my favorite but these were all good.
